Education: A Master’s Degree in Marketing and Sales

Experience: 8+ years – from IT products & solutions based organizations preferred

Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and coordinate a regional marketing budget and plan that aligns marketing activity for each Offering, including recommendations for the regional marketing mix, keeping costs within the agreed limits. Create and maintain a calendar of marketing activity for the assigned region, by Offering and cross-Offering. Timely and accurate communication of regional marketing plans and achievements with National Sales Head. Localization of campaign and other corporate communications - including regional web content - according to localization guidelines, meeting timeline and budget parameters. Budget reports on a timely and accurate basis that inform Regional Marketing Management, Offerings teams and relevant budget holders of local marketing expenditures, as well as providing information into the budget planning process, forecasting budget accruals and managing localization expenditures within budget limitations. Supporting the Offerings and Corporate Marketing teams with other region-specific activities. Build regional understanding of the important media such as magazines and websites by Offerings, enhance existing and build up new relationships and coordinate all local press activities with Corporate Marketing Offerings.

Skills Required: In depth knowledge and understanding of local target market. Professional hands-on experience in operational marketing, e.g. executing on the wide scale of campaign marketing mix elements focused on lead generation. Strong experience in adapting and localizing corporate marketing plans and related campaigns to regional market needs. Extensive knowledge of regional marketing planning and budgeting. Good marketing project management skills to allow for timely planning, executing & reporting on multiple marketing projects. And good knowledge on Channel Marketing experience.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for structuring, execution and achieving a set of sales revenue goals for an assigned region – covering a set of target clients and prospects.
   
   
2. Responsible for key account management and farming of existing clients in the region to enhance the revenue potential from each account.
   
   
3. Responsible for identifying new channel partners and maintaining relationships with existing partners – so as to use the channels of sales very effectively as a vehicle of propagating sales.
   
   
4. Identifying leads and working with the pre-Sales team to effectively respond to all business opportunity potential in the region.
   
   
5. Ensure that technical demonstrations, sales presentations and other areas – related to active working of the market are effectively carried out to meet the overall business goals from the region.
   
   
6. Identify required activities towards branding and marketing for the region and ensure that these are rolled out with the help of the corporate marketing team.
   
   
7. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the fulfillment of sales targets from the assigned region and under guidance from the Regional Head, contribute to the overall P&L targets.

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Experience in having handled enterprise sales especially in IT products and / or applications.
  
  
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills – with strong presentation skills.
  
  
• Exposure in having sold both to the government and private sectors – managing extended sales cycles and navigating through the process of tenders and RFP bids.
