One night I was alone looking at the dark sky,
I had bowed my head for no reason. I did’nt know why
I could not say for sure if I could live this life
I felt shame. I could not lift myself up I felt so much pain looking at my life. |

Then the sun came out, heralding a new dawn
It promised me a new beginning
The sun asked me to lift myself up and I lifted my head slowly
It was the light of the universe I could sense I could realize my future and feel the warmth and kindness of the sun |

It was a ray of hope that fell into my eyes, went through my heart and entered my body and soul.
I stretched myself to embrace the future and stretched out my arms slowly,
Absorbing all the light. |

The sunlight showed the path ahead and lit up my life.
I got up to look for challenges. The Sun taught me to begin with the end in mind. It taught me that if I could have clarity in mind, I could conquer the galaxy. |

Nowadays instead of shivering in the darkness,
I eagerly welcome the dawn.
Now as I allow my petals to stretch out,
The pain is finally gone. |

I am now the man. The mission. The manifestation of God.
I am the mankind
I look for my sun.
The sun gives the ray of hope. The ray of unlimited opportunities
To live in my own “Youniverse”. |

The sunflower reminds us of the life cycle of mankind and is considered to be a symbol of devotion and loyalty. In various stages of decay, these flowers also remind us of the cycle of life and death. The sunflowers date back to ancient times in North America nearly 3,000 years ago. The scientific name of sunflower is Helianthus which is a combination of Helios and Anthos. Helios means the sun and Anthos means flower. The sunflower often follows the sun and it is this characteristic on which it got its name. |

Early American natives used the sunflower long before corn and beans were brought to America. They consumed the seeds, ground the small kernels into flour, extracted oil from seeds for their hair and used the seeds, flower petals and pollen to make dyes for face paint, clothes and baskets. The sunflower is the birthday flower for June 30. It represents adoration, affection, constancy, glory, gratitude and infatuation. The sunflower is the national flower of Russia. |
